Why do you have an additional fee?

This allows us to be more available to our patients and to concentrate on wellness and preventive care.

Do I still need insurance?
Yes.  Our practice is not a substitute for insurance.  The annual fee covers only those items specifically listed under Services as being covered.  All other services are billed in the normal manner.
Can I bill my insurance company for this fee?
No.
Do you still file with my insurance company?
Yes.  Other than the annual fee, our billing services will be the same as you have been used to from other doctor’s offices.
How will this fee work if I have a flex spending account or an HSA?
In some cases the annual fee may be paid out of or through these types of plans.  You should check with your plan’s administrator.
Is there still a copay for visits?
Yes.  This is required by your insurance and Medicare and will be collected at the time of the service.
What happens if I move away or decide that I no longer want to be a patient of the clinic?
The prorated portion of the annual fee will be refunded to you at that time.
